Roger is a European patent attorney and partner in the Munich office of Dentons Patent Solutions. He specializes in life sciences, including computer-implemented inventions, and has extensive experience in various areas of pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. He advises on the preparation and management of patent applications, opposition proceedings, appeal proceedings, as well as legal analysis and litigation at national and European level.

 Pavlína is the co-founder of Human Sense s.r.o. and an experienced HR business partner. She focuses on recruitment in pharma, medtech, biotech, diagnostics, and life sciences. Besides corporates, she also supports early-stage start-ups, especially in HR strategy, company values, employer branding, and building key skills for successfully bringing innovations from research to market.

Karel has over 20 years of experience leading teams in life sciences, pharmaceuticals and diagnostics within multinational pharmaceutical and chemical companies. He spent 11 years in top management and on the board of directors – as CEO of Merck Czech and later as Regional Director EEMEA in Merck Millipore. During this time, he led international teams across three continents.

Jan is a business development expert with over 14 years of experience in the life sciences. Since 2025, he has been working as an independent consultant, advising TechBio companies on development strategy, partnership building, market entry, product-market fit, sales and marketing. From 2020 to 2025, he held the position of Senior Director of Business Development at Insilico Medicine, where he led the commercialization of the Pharma.AI platform.

Jan studied molecular biology and genetics, worked at Northeastern University in Boston and in several international biotechnology companies, where he focused on DNA sequencing, the immune system and the development of biomarker tests. At IOCB Tech Group, he is responsible for international startup projects, technology scouting and pre-incubation and incubation phase management.​​

Liliana is an entrepreneur and advisor with 13 years of experience in building startups. She co-founded the deep tech studio RUN.studio and mentors in leading startup programs. She helps scientific teams validate ideas, create a product, and succeed abroad. She supports budding founders and drives bold innovations in healthcare, biotechnology, and advanced materials.

Tomáš is a partner at the i&i Bio fund with 17 years of experience in investment management, venture capital, and private transactions. He held executive roles in SMEs and start-ups for over eight years. Previously, he worked at PwC in corporate finance, due diligence, and valuation. He holds degrees from the University of Economics in Prague and the City University of Seattle, and was a member of ACCA/FCCA.

Roberto is a scientist and entrepreneur with a PhD in Chemistry, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at LAM-X. He focuses on translating research into practice – from drug delivery systems and biomaterials to light-activated antimicrobial technologies. With a focus on innovation, strategy, and connecting science with business, he builds partnerships that drive real progress and impact.

Hana combines a legal education with international experience in diplomacy, innovation and knowledge valorization. She headed the Center for Knowledge Transfer at Charles University, co-founded Transfera.cz and served as Vice President of ASTP. She works with the European Commission as an expert on intellectual property and knowledge valorization.

Barbora is a biotechnology expert, lawyer, and founder of dubanska & co, specializing in pharmaceutical law and digital health. She has over 20 years of experience in legal and regulatory matters, advising universities, research centers, and biotechnology companies on technology transfer and commercialization. She has worked at leading law firms in Europe and gained experience as a legal advisor at Novartis Oncology.

Aleksander focuses on seed and early stage investments in healthcare and has 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales and venture capital management. He has participated in over 30 investments and exits, including the sale of Smart Pharma. He collaborates with entrepreneurs, scientists and physicians to create value in innovative companies. He holds a Master's degree in Psychology and an MBA.

 Jiří has over 14 years of experience in neuroscience and regenerative medicine. Before joining i&i Prague, he worked as a researcher at the Institute of Experimental Medicine and its international research center. Since 2024, he has been Chief Business Officer at Deep MedChem. He graduated from the Faculty of Science at Charles University and received his doctorate from the Second Faculty of Medicine. As a member of the Neurorecon team, he spent several months at Imperial College London and collaborated with the University of Cambridge. 

Julie graduated in biochemistry from the University of Greifswald with a Ph.D. from the Friedrich Loeffler Institute. After a postdoctoral position at the Hotchkiss Brain Institute in Canada, she joined the IOCB Tech team, where she contributes her knowledge to research and technology development. She is responsible for international business development and collaboration with leading biotechnology companies.

Diana is a Czech lawyer specializing primarily in technology transfer. She supports innovation through drafting various contracts and advising on intellectual property, corporate governance and other legal aspects related to the establishment and development of companies. She is a legal partner of spin-off companies, guiding them through the process of commercializing research results and resolving other legal challenges.

Michael is an experienced expert in knowledge and technology transfer, business development and pharmaceutical research. He is Head of Technology Management and Spin-off Development at Ascenion GmbH in Berlin, where he supports the transfer of life science technologies from academia to practice. He previously worked for over eight years in pharmaceutical research at AstraZeneca and in business development at Aristo Pharma. He holds a PhD in organic chemistry from the University of Marburg.

Ondřej is an investor and technology expert working as a VC Principal at Tensor Ventures, a fund focused on deep-tech startups. During his studies at the University of Economics in Prague, he completed an internship in Sri Lanka, where he participated in the digitalization of banking and corporate systems. He has experience from several technology companies. At Tensor Ventures, he focuses on early-stage project sourcing, portfolio development, and strategic investment planning.
